Flooded Hicksville Basement Gets Help

SERVPRO of Hicksville/Plainview crew arrived on site to a devastating water loss in Hicksville in which a water supply line from the street flooded the basement. The basement was left with 11 inches of standing water, and all contents of the cellar were floating. Within a few hours, SERVPRO team members used submersible and truck-mounted equipment to pump out all the standing water. We were then ready to begin the demolition process. All affected materials were removed from the non-salvageable sheetrock down to the vinyl floor tiles. Our technicians are hard at work, completing the demo phase of the restoration service.
