Some of us have skated on ice plenty, but as soon as wheels get thrown underneath the shoes, all bets are off. Mastering new skills or translating others can be tough work, especially as an adult. Layla’s Dance studio, just a short drive away from downtown Hicksville, aims to solve that. 

Layla’s offers adult-oriented instruction in both beginner and advanced skating techniques, helping you to master balance, pivoting, control, and other vital skills while getting in a great workout all the while. These classes run every Friday evening from 8:30 to 10:00. Reservations are $20 per person, and the studio does not currently accept walk-ins.
